WHOLE BODY CRYO
HOW THE WHOLE BODY CRYO WORKS?
Our cutting-edge Cryotherapy chamber fills with nitrogen vapour, quickly lowering your skin temperature. The treatment lasts an average of 3 minutes and you head remains outside the chamber. You can exit at any time.
The skin sends signals to the brain, stimulating regulatory actions that effectively activate the nutrients in the body that help natural healing. Once out of the chamber the body immediately reheats.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A WHOLE BODY CRYO TREATMENT?
- 3 minute treatment time
- The last 30 seconds of the treatment are the coldest
- Cold and dry nitrogen vapour
- Stable cooling over the entire body
- Constant monitoring by a trained operator
WHAT TO WEAR?
Clients are required to wear underwear, jogging bottoms or compression shorts. Women can also wear a bra, sports bra or bikini top. Two pairs of socks, slippers and a robe will be provided.

DO I NEED TO SHOWER BEFORE OR AFTER THE WHOLE BODY CRYO TREATMENT?
No, this treatment uses a dry cold and only lasts for 3 minutes.
WHAT IF I HAVE CLAUSTROPHOBIA?
The chamber is uncovered so your head remains outside the chamber and you can exit at any time.
WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD MORE ABOUT CRYOTHERAPY?
Low temperatures have been used to treat inflammation for centuries - think of athletes using ice to ease the pain of sore muscles. Modern applications to treat rheumatoid arthritis began during the 1970’s in Japan. Several clinical studies have also been conducted in Europe, where the practice of Cryotherapy is more common.
IS THE NITROGEN VAPOUR SAFE?
The vapour used in the chamber is made of the same nitrogen that is in the air we breathe. The heavier nitrogen vapour remains inside the chamber, so you only breathe the air in the room.
WHEN SHOULD I HAVE THE WHOLE BODY CRYO OR LOCALISED TREATMENT?
No sooner than 4 hours before training and 48 hours after training for athletes during training and competition. Many clients prefer one or two sessions a week for maintenance.
WHAT AREAS ARE MOST COMMONLY TREATED?
The lower abdomen, the flanks (=love handles), saddle bags, bra bulges, back fat or flabby knees.
This is not a procedure for weight loss or for people who are obese. It works best for people who have isolated pockets of resistant fat but are otherwise is decent physical condition.
WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED DURING THE PROCEDURE?
The initial feeling when the applicator is applied is that the skin is being pulled intensely into a vacuum.
The cooling process then begins which might sting or feel uncomfortable for the first few minutes. Thereafter the area feels usually numb.
The procedure takes one to three hours depending on the amount of areas being treated. The treatment is precessed by a 10 minutes Lipolaser therapy and finished with a 5 minute cavitation massage (without cooling) which helps the treated area to recuperate and usually all signs of the treatment disappear within an hour after the session.
HOW MANY CRYO LIPO TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
1 to 3 treatments are needed depending on the thickness of the resistant fat.
Treatments can be repeated at 30 day intervals. It can be used on all skin types and ages.
WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED AFTER THE PROCEDURE?
Cryolipolysis is highly effective method in destroying unwanted fat deposits and is producing consistent results for local areas of fat like the love-handles and under arms.
Several days after the procedure, the cooled fat cells begin a process called “apoptosis” where the cell membranes break and the fat tissue starts to shrink. These damaged fat cells are slowly metabolised over several months and eventually removed permanently.
WHEN DO I SEE THE RESULTS FROM CRYO LIPO TREATMENTS?
Clinical tests and studies showed an average loss of 27% or 2 – 3 cm in the treated area and these results can be seen after 1 to 2 months after the treatment. To achieve the final result can take from 8 to 12 weeks.
More than one treatment per area may be needed to achieve the desired result depending on the initial amount of fat to be reduced.
The results are visible within a short time frame but a final result is usually attained after 3 months.
CAN CRYO LIPO BE COMBINED WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?
If there are areas of hardened fat such as the saddle bags that need to be treated, it is recommended that during the first 1 to 4 weeks after the Cryo Lipo treatment additional treatments such as Lipo Laser can be performed to soften and further break down the destroyed fat cells, tighten the skin and thus both speeding up and improving the results.
After the first Cryo Lipo procedure, clients can start immediately these auxiliary treatments to improve skin tightening and drainage of the treated areas.
IS CRYO LIPO FAT REMOVAL SAFE AND ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Extensive testing has shown that cooling only damages fat cells, and other tissues at the treatment site are not affected.
The dead fat cells are discarded by the body's normal metabolic processes.
Because of its non-invasive nature; Cryo Lipo has considerably fewer risks than surgical fat reduction procedures.
This procedure is considered safe for most clients, although there are certain risks associated with any kind of treatment. Some of these risks may include redness, bruising and reduced sensation in the treated area. These side effects are rare and always go away on their own.
Side effects are usually mild and related to the cooling temperature and strength of the negative pressure used during the treatment. After the treatment, there is often a mild burning and / or tingling sensation which usually subsides within few minutes.
Skin may be also red for several hours. On certain areas bruising may occur which usually resolves in couple of hours and in extremely rare cases after 1 to 2 weeks.
Other side effects may include temporary tenderness, numbness or dulling sensation.
Some clients report mild abdominal cramping the first night after the procedure, but this is extremely rare.
